Teachers/students can use the script for free in class or in a workshop situation. Performance of the whole play may take place before other invited classes and staff of the same institution as long as the audience is non-paying.

Permission excludes outside members of the public.

Teachers / students can use an extract from the play for the purposes of audition, competition or presentaion*. The extract must be no longer than one (1) scene from the play or in the case of a play with continuous action (ie one-act play not broken into scenes) a maximum of five (5) pages is allowed. 

(*eg to parents in a school concert situation).

Acknowledgment of the author is required when and where appropriate, eg event programs.

APPLYING FOR PERFORMANCE PERMISSION & PAYMENT  PROCEDURE

1. The intended performance(s) and dates are registered using the application form on this web site* (click here).
2. A provisional licence to perform the play plus a statement of royalty cost is sent to you by email. Included in the email is a link to an online credit card payment facility, PAYMATE. If you find the terms of  the performance licence and the cost acceptable and you  wish to proceed with production, payment can be made before or after the event online (within 14 days for the latter).
3. Alternatively, payment can be made by cheque (check) or money order before or after the event (within 14 days for the latter) - payment details provided on request.
